Independent Fact-Finding Report Investigates Israeli War Crimes

An independent fact-finding report commissioned by Physicians for Human Rights - Israel and the Palestinian Medical Relief Society has been released, documenting the testimony of 44 civilians who came under attack and medical personnel who were prevented from rescuing the wounded during the recent Israeli offensive on the Gaza Strip.

5 independent experts specializing in forensic medicine, burns, medical response to crises, and public health responded to a request lobbied by Physicians Human Rights' for an external independent investigation into the events.

Traveling through the Gaza Strip and several Egyptian hospitals, where many of the victims are currently being treated, the experts collected an overwhelming wealth of evidence suggesting that instead of evacuating civilians from the combat zone, the Israeli Army actively terrorized them with its sophisticated weaponry.
